HOUSE PLANNING : Kitchen Dreaming

You guys. We’ve barely finished the nursery (which I will be sharing soon!), and I’m already setting my sights on the outdated and untouched kitchen of our 1959 ranch. It’s important to me, when redesigning a space, to stay true to the architecture around it. We have a brick wall, terrazzo floors, a built-in oven, and original flat-front wooden cabinets (check out photos here). So, I’ve been dreaming of some fresh, vintage-inspired ways to change up the space while staying true to its original character. Not that we’ll be making purchases any time soon, but I’ve been dreaming up some big plans, and thought I’d share with you! Check the links below for product details.

Kitchen Feature at Apartment Therapy

Afterbaj08162010

Hey friends! Want to see my tiny kitchen before and after? Well it’s up at Apartment Therapy today. (P.S. I love my Dad. And my landlord. Without them, this kitchen wouldn’t have been possible.)

If you have any cool before and after projects that you would like to be featured on Apartment Therapy, please e-mail them to me (graycandibear [at] yahoo [dot] com) for consideration!
