I have a feeling hand-crochet toys will be one of those luxuries I don't mind saving for, to give our future kiddos quality keepsakes that are just as fun as they are cute. While browsing Etsy to see what kind of hand-knit and hand-crochet stuffed animals were out there, I stumbled on this Etsy shop: Peanut Butter Dynamite. Check out the cute puppy faces! I think they are my favorite. I can just imagine one of these guys sitting on a rocking chair in our kiddo's nursery. And we would be supporting the handmade community too! My wishlist just got longer.

When a lady combines a week of Mad Men watching with a week of thrifting and antiquing, she can't help but completely obsess over vintage bar equipment. This girl loves a happy hour downtown with friends, but now that it's getting cooler outside, I'm anticipating a swiftly impending season of hibernation. In decorating my home, I desperately try to maintain the delicate balance between vintage granny, bohemian hippie, and Scandinavian modern. The key to the granny aspect? Lots of florals, lace, and needlework. For the Scandinavian, I stick with white walls, enjoy my Saarinen knock-off side table, and lust after other designer pieces I cannot afford. To add more of a bohemian vibe, I like to display kilim rugs on the floors, ombre dye my curtains, and have lots of pillows strewn about.
