There are some new things in store!

Here's Lookin' at Me, Kid is getting a makeover.  Hopefully in a couple of days, I'll have the new design for my blog up and running.  I've added some new features which will appear in the the blog, including the shop for Half Caf paper and Half Caf Vintage as well as my scrapbook resume.

I'm opening up more space on the left column for advertisers.  So the big question is,

What timing!

My chipboard butterfly tutorial is up at the Jenni Bowlin website today.  I thought the timing is impeccable, considering today's post about gesso.

Be anxious for nothing.

I'm having a hard time doing that.  It's bad enough that I've had to wait for three separate quotes for the price of printing my papers before I can get this show on the road.  (Believe me, I am grateful for the opportunity to do so, it's just hard waiting, ya know?)  But both of my computer are under the weather.  Yes, I have two computers.  :)  My laptop I received as a graduation gift, which makes it 6 years old.  My mac was given to me from my friend Amy who found it abandoned at the design agency where she works.  It took a bit to get that one up and running.  And now it's neither up nor running.  So, my brother has been so gracious to let me use his.

Amidst all the anxiety I've been feeling this week, I received two lovely gifts from two very special blog friends.  The timing couldn't have been better.  It's just nice to have friends out there who "get it."  And for that, I'm oh so grateful!

Thanks Emily for the handmade card and the so cute stamps!!
