I did this LO for the OLW challenge. I usually don’t do challenges unless I really feel some major inspiration. Otherwise I feel like I’m forcing something that just isn’t right. But I thought about the word grow, and really did feel inspired to journal about the growth I’ve experienced after my gramma’s death last summer.

The design of the second layout was inspired by dare 91.
The one also is pretty important to me.
My family has always worked very hard
for everything we have,
and I’ve learned so much about life
(working hard and having a sense of humor)
from the examples of my father and grandparents.
And so this page is all about us.
Oh and in case you didn’t figure it out,
The title is a twist on the airline slogan.

I got some stencils a couple weeks ago and overused them a lot last night. I used cardstock and NO patterned paper (a huge deal for me) and everything I used was clipped from magazines or printed/typed out.  (transparency and typewriting)

Today was yet another snow day, only this time I found out before I got there.  So I decided to do a couple layouts in my free time today as well as go to lunch with my brother.  Here is one of the layouts:

I also had time to write a letter to Anthropologie.

Dear Anthropologie:
Why is it that I need everything you have?  You have put me in quite a predicament.  I cannot afford all you have to offer, yet my heart yearns for every single dress, every pair of flats, every precious cardigan, and even your perfect tea cups.  What can I do to calm the flutters in my heart?  Perhaps I shall visit you soon.  Very soon.
