Crafty Mart

Akron's first ever Crafty Mart was so delightful! I had such fun seeing some of the creative talent Akron has to offer and meeting new creative friends! Crafty Mart definitely did not disappoint. Well, I guess if I was being honest, it did disappoint in that I did not have a table. But next year, I will definitely look into it! Here are the photos I snagged of the event.

I adored these necklaced by B. Radley, but I didn't buy any.  I think I will be kicking myself for that later, but they're from the area, so I can always hit them up later!  We exchanged e-mails.

Revival makes screen printed posters and Tshirts.  They also have a shop in Highland Square, in Akron, where they sell their creations as well as vintage goods.  You should definitely stop by and visit them if you're ever in the area!

I loved the mix of arty, kitschy, and pretty things that the Crafty Mart had to offer.  It was located inside Musica (an indie music venue), which gave the whole event even more of a underground vibe.  I thought it really went well, and I seriously can't wait until next year!

Anybody live near Akron?

I'm kind of excited about this.  We used to have something similar at the University, but last year it never happened.  Very sad.  But!  This year is our first ever Crafty Mart.  I'm hoping this will be an annual thing.  If you live anywhere near Akron, Ohio, please come visit!

Come live in Canton, Ohio.

Not only will you get to go out for frequent lattes with yours truly, but you could live in a house like this (8,700 sq. ft. historical 1920s tudor) for a mere $120,000. Not kidding. And no, there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s one of many fabulous foreclosures that it breaks my heart I can’t buy right now. (As if I could take care of this house anyway!)
