Ashley Toussant is the very cute girl I met last year through the most curious circumstances. I think it was a divine moment, because shortly thereafter I was introduced to her beautiful music and a lovely friendship grew, complete with Chicago adventures and Canton, Ohio lovin’.

I was terribly excited when Ashley asked me if I would be interested in shooting some promotional shots for her in-the-works album, Sweetheart. Her music is the sweetest thing, and I am always delighted at a chance to hear her perform. So, of course I was ecstatic about photographing her adorable self and becoming a part of this new venture of hers!

I’ve had a chance to hear some of the tunes from the new album, and have fallen in love with the soft folksy sounds she and her band are creating. The little pop-up shop I had at the BRsq building in Canton was lots of fun! Thanks to everyone who stopped by! This month was much slower than last, but I think in April, providing there are no torrential downpours, we will have a much better turnout. I sold some merchandise, alongside of friends who were also selling their handcrafted goods, and managed to take a little bit of video when things were really slow. Hello lovely ones! Tonight is the night I part with some of my beloved hats and give you a chance to snatch them up for your own. Don't worry, I shan't be without any of my own! I have plenty more to keep me company.

Tomorrow the shop will be on vacation from 5:00 PM-1:30 AM EST as I will be selling these hats and clothes from my pop-up shop at Canton, Ohio's First Friday event. So if you see something you like, tonight and tomorrow afternoon might be your last chance! ;)
