Next week we move into our new apartment. Painting is happening this weekend! (Our landlord gave us white paint when I said I would like to paint the dark taupe trim. Also we are refinishing the kitchen cabinets. Before & after of that project to come!) I can’t stop thinking about changes I want to make in our home’s style, since we will no longer be living with my brother in his wonderful home. So no more compromises on my style! The only compromises I will be making involve negotiations with my paypal account. Ya feel?

P.S. I am so blessed to have a husband who gives me complete creative reign in our home. Within reason (and budget, of course! But that’s my specialty!).

Never have I ever felt more strongly that a printed poster should be in my life. I think I shall purchase this for our new abode come September. And then I’ll hire a hit man for my tv, because I can’t quite go through with it myself..

We’re planning a move out of my brother’s house into an apartment this September. New sofas are necessary for moves, yeah? At least I think they probably are in order when one is currently abiding a cute vintage clunker that is often left empty and alone. A poor sofa is bad for marriages, I’m quite certain. Cuddle sessions have taken quite a hit. So I’m thinking this lovely lady from Crate and Barrel is a decent solution. Reviews claim it to be quite comfy. The colors here are actually Photoshop concoctions… but I think custom upholstery is an option. Well, in any case, I can dream, can’t I?
