Obviously, I am extremely inspired by the things I find at the Thrift Store. Necessity is the mother of invention, yeah? And a poor girl like me can go for shopping sprees…. at the Thrift, of course. I think relegating oneself to mostly thrifted decor means extra creative spaces.

Lately I’ve been trying to be a better housekeeper. Maybe it’s my brain reacting to watching too many consecutive episodes of Mad Men? In any case, I’m trying my best, but apparently it’s not good enough for my weakest little houseplant. I just forget about the darn things! Maybe I should set an alarm each day to remember to water the plants? Yeah?

The above photo is from the last issue of Domino Magazine (may it rest in peace). I miss seeing the little arrows and comments they would place on the images in their magazine. I like to do the same thing here on my blog. It’s like peeking into a journal, don’t you think?
