Two Years Down.

Since Phil and I celebrated out anniversary the weekend before, we kept it simple on the actual day.  He had a softball game, so after getting scrubbed up and squeaky clean, we headed out to one of our all time favorite ice cream joints for a couple of sundaes.  I am the worst vegan ever.  In fact, I don’t even call myself a vegan any more.  I don’t do dairy, except for in ice cream.  But I just can’t give it up!
Not this time of year, anyway!  Well, in any case, I don’t drink milk or do very much cheese, and I haven’t had any meant product (including chicken and fish) since last December.  So I guess I’m technically a vegetarian.  Who tries to be vegan.  :)
It’s hard to be different in this culture.  I really actually wanted a Chick fil A sandwich last night.  But then, I got really grossed out.  My how time changes things, eh?  I wonder if I will be a vegetarian forever?

Brace Yourself.

Mini album

Today is the debut of my second gallery as Guest Garden Girl at Two Peas in a Bucket.  They even gave me a T-shirt!  haha  I joked with Phil that I had better watch out before scrapbooking Tshirts take over my huge stash of volleyball T-shirts that I’ve collected through the years.  And physical fitness burried with them.

Well, hopefully not the last part.

In any case, here’s what I’ve done for the second gallery!  You can see more details of the mini book and descriptions of the layouts at the gallery.

Second month with the JBS girls!

Bobby Pins

I used the back of the Collage Press shaped paper as a mask, and then later used it in another layout.  Believe it or not, I’ve welcomed embellishments into my life.  Although, I am in amazement at what other scrapbookers can do with them.  I consider myself quite the embellishment rookie.

I’m not quite sure how you feel about close ups.  Do you think them?  Or are they an unnecessary waste of blog space?

Bobby Pins Close

Well, in any case, I’ll add a couple.  :)

Camera shy

I used some gess, stitching, and hand cutting for this one.  I think it makes for a funky yet sweet layout of my little cousin, Jo.  The title was made out of a vintage flashcard that came in the kit.
