Randomness is best. Forever. For sure.

Little ladylayout

Something I’ve discovered about my crafty self is that I like randomness in the things I create. So, lately, I’ve been taking my scissors to the paper and letting whatever happens, happens! I’ve found that the products on my desk really inspire me, especially the ones you see in this post. These are a couple of my recent favorites. I used Hambly Screen Prints paper, overlays, and rub ons to make these, plus two bits of vintage ephemera and a little machine stitching.

First kiss

I know I’ve already expressed how much I was am in love with the January scrapbooking kit (especially the add on!) from JBS Mercantile…. but I’m going to say it again. I’ve made five layouts with this kit, and I know for a fact that there will be more coming (I’ll show you soon)! Jenni is killin’ it these days when she puts together the kits. Sigh.

Hey dresses copy

I can not express how much I loved this month’s Jenni Bowlin Mercantile kit! It’s like it was made for me. Check out what the other girls did here. We were all quite busy with the holidays, so there will be more to come!

I adored the Basic Grey patterned papers and lace papers included in the kit. They were so feminine and fun at the same time. Also, I am seriously obsessed with Studio Calico’s new paper line. I might be hoarding some of it for “later…”

Being a girl

Included in the add on kit is this fabulous vintage Macalls paper.  I was terrified to cut into it, but I managed to do so in a manner to reuse the scraps in other layouts.
