WHAT I WORE: Leather, Lace, & Tweed

There’s something about a fabric that manages to be both ladylike and sexy all at once. Vintage lace, folks. It’s the secret weapon for any gal’s wardrobe. Sadly, I usually don’t wear much lace in the wintertime, but the minute the weatherman says, “Folks, the snow’s a melting,” you better believe I’m digging into the back of my closet for a lacy blouse to layer with my standard winter garb. This particular outfit features a nice mix of decades and textures, topped off with a sweet 1950’s sheer lace blouse for a barely edgy peek-a-boo look. Sherpa, suede, knit cotton, tweed, leather, and, of course, a little bit of lace. I like it.

Great combination. The jacket fits you perfectly, and I love the peekaboo collar.
