WHAT LUCY WORE: Six Months Old!
Lucy’s already been with us for half of a year, and I can’t believe it! I can’t believe that last Fall, she was swimming in this very same dress, and now it’s practically just a baby blouse. I can’t believe she has tooth poking through, and I can’t believe the sounds she makes resemble words! So much to not believe. Right now, my favorite thing in the world is making her laugh, and she fills my heart with joy, when she isn’t making my head explode with one of her fits. I can’t wait ’till two. Sigh.

Such a beautiful little girl! I love your blog – I’ve been following it for years but this may be my very first comment. Can I just tell you how freaking happy it makes me that you paint an honest picture of motherhood?! Yes, we love our children but sometimes they scream nonstop, something they throw temper tantrums, sometimes they throw up in your mouth, and sometimes their diapers explode. I read all of these blogs about motherhood with babies smiling and pooping rainbows and basically behaving like dolls and I just want to call FOUL!! I know people want to focus on the positive but it can be disheartening when your own children act like, well, children. I love that you are honest and real!

Oh wow–I can’t believe she’s growing up so fast! :) I’m sitting here waiting for my little girl to decide to come (she’s officially due the end of the week, but seems to have settled in and made herself comfy–I’m thinking she’s going to be a bit late! lol.), and it’s so weird to think that in September she too will be at the 6 month mark! Babies grow far too quickly–but it is so fascinating to watch them develop into their own person! :)
OH MY…I’ll say it again. She is SO SO SO adorable. I wish I could pick her up and hold her!!!!!! Love your blog, AND love the Lucy posts. Thanks for letting us have some major cuteness right on our screen!!!!!!! They grow up SO fast. My little lady is going to be 19 next month GEESH, and she was like 6mths. old yesterday, ya know what I’m saying!!!!!

I adore mom’s who gush over how much their love their kids. It makes me so happy. There is too much complaining and not enough loving of children. Makes me all the more excited to someday be one. What a little cutie she is. I’ll be she is keeping you busy.
