WHAT I WORE: Quilted Maxi

Before you cry, “Enough with the maxis, already!” you might want to take a look at the scenery in these photos. It may be March already, but babies, it’s still super cold out there! I figured, if I’m going to wear a psychedelic patterned maxi dress, I might as well take it to the next level and wear a one with a quilted skirt. That’s right. A quilted skirt. I’m essentially wearing a blanket. Like I said, it’s cold outside! So I might as well enjoy this a new winter favorite, alongside layered cotton tights, cozy boots, and fluffy angora berets. And then pray for Spring.

Love your quilted maxi dress–so smart for the cold! I live in Michigan and this whole Midwest winter thing could not be over soon enough. I have essentially lived in maxi skirts, turtlenecks, and thick tights for the past three months. I can’t wait for sundress weather!
It is still cold – I don’t ever think of March as a warm month! Plus, I don’t think you can have too many fun maxi skirts – it’s not a common thing to see! This one is so fun and colorful too.

What a beautiful outfit and I just love the color splash on your skirt!! =)
Quilted skirt. . .that just sounds so cozy!! I like maxi skirts all year round, but then again I have never been fond of short skirts as it is. This is a beautiful set!
You pull this off so well! Not an easy feat for such a bold (& beautiful!) piece.
Great matching of the outfit and background.
It is cold here too, that skirt has great colours – a little summer in the snow xo
