WHAT LUCY WORE: Petit Bébé
Oh how I love finding fun and fresh baby basics! Remember when I talked about how it’s important for me to just mix and match classic separates, so I don’t have to spend lots of money on different outfits for Lucy? Believe it or not, she doesn’t really have a lot of clothes, but we never get bored mixing and matching outfits for her. She’s worn each of these pieces many times, but this is the first time she’s worn them together. The striped top is short sleeved, but it’s layered over a long sleeve top with a cute collar to peek out above the striped one. To hide the layering of short sleeves over long sleeves, I threw a cardigan on top. As far as shoes go, this is her only pair, because it goes with all of her outfits that don’t already have feet attached. And just like with her momma, a cute hat adds the perfect amount of jazz to the outfit! Just look at that smile. The girl already loves hats.

OMG She is a Little Mandi now. She has changed from looking like her daddy to looking like her mommy.I read that 89% of babies are born looking like their dads and around two months they take on more of their true look. I want to squeeze her. I’m going to be an Oma in 19 days. First grand baby and can hardly wait. By the way Mandi you look AMAZING!!!
Congrats! I’m sure you are so excited! And can I just say that I am SO happy somebody is finally saying she looks like me. Ha! I didn’t think it would bother me as much as it did that people actually told me she looks nothing like me. I think she’s a pretty good mix of the two of us. :)
