WHAT I WORE | Maternity Style – 34 Weeks

It’s been interesting to see a shift in my personal style during this pregnancy. What I wear is less about how I want to craft my sartorial vision, and more about what fits, feels comfortable, and makes me feel pretty. Anything knit, stretchy, black, and simple seems to fit the bill. Flip flops? Yes, those too! At least I gained some satisfaction when my friends gasped in wonder when they first saw me wearing them. “You’re wearing flip flops! Please tell me your feet are swollen, because I just can’t….” Yeah, they know a day when I wear flip flops is a fashion emergency. I’m definitely looking forward to wearing pretty shoes again! Come on, baby!

You look GREAT!!!
Looking good, Mama! Love the hair scarf.
PS, did you have an eyebrow piercing at some point? I noticed a scar above your eye which is just like mine from my old piercing. Haha.
I have a scar next to my eye from where I had a tumor removed, and then if you’re noticing one above my eyebrow, that’s because I was a bad little girl and scratched my chicken pox spots. :)
you are so beautigul like this!
i love hoe you always look so fresh and nice. and how you matched cardigan and scarf colors. i wore the scarf the very exact way whole summer, perfect for the heats!

You look fantastic! I would love a tutorial on how to tie your head scarf. Mine never look so pretty. ;)
Good idea! I’ve found that my head scarves stay put better when I do my hair under them a certain way. I’ll share a tutorial soon!
You look so lovely, and the scarf is just the icing on the cake. I can’t wait for the tutorial! I have tons of scarves but I can never get them to look quite so nice on me.
Love,
Scout
Still a cute look though- even if its not based on editorial choice so much. Love the scarf!
Your are radiant!! Really stunning Amanda! You look picture perfect as I imagine June Cleaver ( don’t remember her real name) :) or Lucille Ball would look pregnant!

These are such beautiful photos. Definietely thought the first photo was a 1920’s vintage photograph of a lady that held a very heavy resemblance to you. Ha. Love the bold prints and patterns your incorporate into this look.

I lived in flip flops in the winter for my first pregnancy because of swollen feet. . .and it was wonderful. haha. You still look fashionable and amazing this way!!!!!
