Kara is a quirky, creative gal who captured my attention when she was just a young teenager cranking out angsty and arty scrapbook pages. Her style and sense of design has developed through the years, and now as a college student, she supports her creative life with the help of her online art journal classes. Kara helps her students open their minds to creative ways of exploring their journalling skills and combining paper crafting techniques with mixed media and artistic expression. I’ve taken a class of hers before and definitely recommend it to anyone who is new to art journaling or anyone who wants to push themselves outside of their comfort zone in new, creative ways.
