WHAT I WORE | Cinematic Color Inspiration
“My, aren’t you looking patriotic today!” Phil said upon seeing my outfit today. Errr… not exactly the reaction I was going for. “It’s inspired by my favorite Danish/French actress,” I told him. So not exactly American. But very red white and blue! When I first saw A Woman in a Woman, I wanted to redo my entire wardrobe in only reds and blues. Of course, that didn’t happen, but it’s fun occassionally channeling Ms. Karina’s style. Like today!
I put together a little skirt suits of sorts with items I found at the thrift store. Navy’s a great basic color, but it’s difficult to get multiple navies to match. I lucked out with this pleated skirt, which perfectly matches my favorite thrifted blazer. Wahoo! Perfect for martinis with friends.
I enjoyed that film. I added it to my netflix cue after i saw it featured on your blog. that skirt fits you perfectly. I love the candy striped blouse too.
I still can’t get over how much I love your haircut! And your criss-cross shoes are wonderful!
