Wardrobe | 2011 Does 1960 Something
I’m a bit of a mash-up when it comes to my personal style. I’ve long given up actually defining my taste in fashion, much less assigning a certain decade to my vintage tastes. The 1960s, however, reoccurs in my style inspiration time after time.
When working the 1960s into my wardrobe, I usually go for daringly short skirts (with some old volleyball shorts or opaque tights underneath), buttoned-up shirts, ladylike heels, and fun patterns- like bold stripes, polka dots, and large floral designs. Oh, and bows! (I didn’t give into my ascot urges this time, though I did think about it!)
Though this blouse is actually from the late 80s/early 90s, its bold teal stripes go great with some vintage ’60s pieces. In fact, I’ve been stocking up on striped shirts similar to this one each time I head to the thrift store. Somebody save me! They are addicting.

Yep. Ditto on trying to define personal style …
That skirt is so wonderful! Also I have a brooch identical to that one but black, they make such a cute and quirky touch to collars don’t they?
I really love the tones of these photos so I am seriously considering purchasing your photoshop actions. Only problem is I don’t know how to use actions so I think I need to educate myself first!
