Outfit to Scrapbook: 90’s Flower Child

2011_04_20

Sometimes I wish I could turn my scrapbooking supplies into outfit materials. But since that’s impossible, this amazing outfit was top on my list to turn into a scrapbook page. Check out those ’90s trousers and that amazing shirt! To start out my page, I painted white cardstock with some paint I mixed up to match the peachy-pink of the shirt’s stripes.

Next, I added black stamping to tie in the black elements of the outfit. Since the color picture I used matched the colors of the girl’s trousers, I only used a bit of floral paper. Lighter floral on the top, and darker floral on the bottom. The kraft paper frame and buttons tied in the last elements I wanted to use from the outfit. Next step? Find some amazing pants just like hers!
