Behind That Locked Door
Besides my loyal desire to promote my favorite neighborhood instrument shop… I have been wanting to take a picture in the back of Gatusso’s because of their gawgeous old signage. This is the place I first spread my musical wings in the fourth grade when I rented my first flute. And hey… who would have thought that I would actually still be playing?! (I think my mom was crossing her fingers after she purchased my first flute.)
I thought the music shop was an apropriate backdrop for my outfit which just seemed so swingin-60s-British-invasion-I wish-I-was-a-go-go-dancer-ish. My grandma even asked me if I was going to do a little dance for her when I paid her a visit after lunch. I did, of course, do a little dance for Grams.
