The Inevitable Donning of the DIY Dress
Remember that dress I sorta made last Spring from an old thrift store jumper? Well, I finally got around to wearing it. (I still wish I had taken better images of the progress and before/after shots. Oh well. Next time.) I decided, though, that I still wasn’t a big fan of the way the bodice looked, so I layered a poet’s blouse underneath it. Also, the short length made me nervous in the Summer breeze, so here I am in tights. The solution to any windy woes, I reckon.
I really adore it without the jacket over top of the dress and blouse, but the day was chilly and rainy, so I donned my regular Fall uniform- that is to say, my favorite virgin wool Pendleton blazer.
