The Gypsy in Me
When people ask me what I do… I always want to tell them I am a vagabond. I really try to do what I please when I please. Except for when I’m doing the dishes, and running up and down three flights of stairs to clean the laundry, of course. Besides that aspect of my life, I like to think I am a bit of a nomad at heart.
This skirt (with the aid of my scarf) definitely made me feel like a gypsy. It’s another longer length number that I was planning on hemming as soon as I brought it home from the thrift store. I decided, though, that I should probably test it out first to see how I really feel. I think I’ve decided to hem it, because I have another blue skirt in my possession of a similar length. Ah, I don’t know. I’m torn!

You do seem like a gypsy in that outfit. I think it could be a little shorter like right below the knee.
Love the outfit!
this skirt is really nice. I again love how you put everything together.
he he. My hubby’s Bulgarian and a little bit of a nomad, so we always joke about his gypsy-ness. Too cute! Love the skirt to bits – I’ve been looking for a vintage pattern to make a similar one (many many times! he he). I love the length – so pretty. :)
Major shoe lust.
It practically hurts.
OHHHH I love your skirt just the way it is. Your legs look so long!
I like it long actually! Especially with the fall season and you having a shorter one already!
Oh I love the skirt as is. The lines are great as is. Beautiful color!
Don;’t hem it it’s soooo cute the way it is!!! (although I bet it’d be really cute hemmed too…hehe that’s not very helpful though, is it?)
Love your blog, such awesome photos and style! :o)
SO cute. and i concur with your sentiments on being a nomad. i get the itch to go somewhere new almost on a daily basis. :)
