Wardrobe Wednesday- Sister #4
A little secret part of me that mostly nobody knows…. It's an ambition of mine to someday be the third Andrews Sister. Seriously. I realize that in this decade, and due to the identity of my own mother and father, that this is an impossible dream. But I can dream, can't I? (Wow, I just realized the heavy irony of that last sentence. Totally unplanned. Promise!)
So… This outfit just made me think of that silly ambition of mine. All I need is a chrome microphone on a stand, yeah? Actually, the closest I ever came to being an Andrews Sister is playing one in our Christmas musical at school. And singing The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Oh yes. I did. Ah, memories.
blouse: Anthropologie
skirt: vintage (from a yard sale!)

Oh, and this last photo is for those of you who say that you never see me smile. I do have a big smile! I just feel silly putting it on in front of the camera. In the park. By myself. With bystanders, usually. Ha!

you look beautiful Mandi!! Love that outfit! miss you!
royal blue is such a hot colour right now and i LOVE it! it really adds something special to an outfit, you look so pretty! :)
i really love the continuation of the buttons from your blouse to your skirt. such a nice little detail.
i love this outfit so much! i went thrifting on monday and found a skirt that’s a similar length and just tried it on tonight and was thinking that maybe i should hem it to keep it from looking too matronly, but i’m loving the way yours looks on you. thanks for the inspiration! you’re too adorable!
I love this outfit! The blouse is amazing, as are your bangs!
ooo I’ve loved the Andrews Sisters since I was about 6. awesome. I don’t blame you for wanting to be Patty Andrews!
I love your outfit!
Your smile is beautiful- and I love your tiny little bangs! You just ooze style and grace, it’s wonderful :)
I love that top!
That would be so interesting.
I love your blouse!
I love your big smile! And yes, being an Andrews sister would be so rad. My secret dream is to be the extra Davis sister, so I could belt out some sad country tunes with Skeeter. Ah, dreamin’.
