Alfred Hitchcock Presents
Well, I haven't done a cinema post for quite a while, but as those of you who follow me on twitter know, that doesn't mean I haven't been piddling away the hours of my life in front of our television which often glows the exciting light of TCM. But when I'm in the mood for entertainment and TCM isn't showing a movie I particularly fancy, I've recently been clicking over to NBC online where you can watch full episodes of The Alfred Hitchcock hour!
It's a great resource for classic movie buffs, as most of us are also passionate admirers of the wry Hitchcock as well. His dry humor is evident at the beginning and end of every show as he presents the episode with quick wit and often off-color humor. I find this man, and everything his creative hand ever touched, to be quite fascinating. (P.S. Did you know that Alfred Hitchcock made a cameo appearance in almost every single film he ever made? His films are like the original Where's Waldo.)

I really need to watch the Alfred Hitchcock collection. He’s so awesome. I need to stow away for a weekend and see them all (if that’s possible in 48 hours)
I used to love watching that show on TV Land! He was so funny on it! So dry!
I love Alfred Hitchcock. He’s so adorable in a little chubby man sort of way haha.
I watched The Birds one time at my grandparents’ house when I was 10 and thought it was creepy…would love to see it again sometime.
love Hitchcock movies! The Birds is my all time favorite!
Did you see that fake Hitchcock film that Scorsese made?

I just watched it again because it was so good!
I was not allowed to watch Alfred Hitchcock when I was little (too skiddish), but I remember sneaking glances here and there because I was enamored with how *beautiful* the colors and cinematography was :D Will definitely have to watch some episodes!
I always look for him in all the films hehe. Just like I always look for Stan Lee in all the marvel films.
Aaahhh, this brings back memories!
Growing up here in CA, there was a station that aired Alfred Hitchcock Presents for an hour (two 1/2 hour episodes) followed by an hour of The Twilight Zone. As an elementary school child and early lover of sci-fi, this was heaven!! :)
And, by the by, Alfred Hitchcock has one of the greatest profiles ever! ;)
You are a girl after my own heart! I adore Alfred Hitchcock, I don’t even think I could pick a favorite movie. But off the top of my head would be Rope, Rear Window, and Virtigo. I always like to play spot the Hitchcock with people when we watch his movies.
If actually been thinking of having some kind of Summer Classic Movie Festival at my house and Hitchcock will be on the list.
