Wardrobe Wednesday- Pigtails and Jeans
Wardrobe Wednesday is back! I've missed it. School sucked up so much of my time that I had little left for coordinating a moments to shoot with Phil (or a time to fiddle around with the tripod). So here I am! And in jeans, no less!
It's a fact. I do wear jeans. Not often, but it happens. Probably about once a week. Or twice. I typically just don't enjoy the way they look on me, and I don't relish the hunt to find the perfect pair. Besides, everybody wears jeans. I like to wear things that not everybody is wearing.
Which is why I love vintage. What are the odds someone else will be wearing the same top as you if you found it squashed between blouses in the racks of a vintage shop? Oh, and hats. I've actually not worn a hat for the past couple of weeks. I think Wardrobe Wednesdays had been keeping me on track with that resolution of mine. But now that I have more time to think about my attire, perhaps the general public shall see a swift return of Mandi and her many hats.

I really like this outfit. The top looks great with the jeans. I like the way jeans look, but I too hate shopping for them, especially since I always think my money could be better spent on another dress. :D

Jeans are both the hardest and the easiest thing to work into my wardrobe…I can be lazy and just throw them on but then I -look- lazy or I can actually put some effort into finding (it’s hard!) nice jeans and making them look interesting.
I think you accomplished the second with this outfit! Good work!
