Have a Merry Christmas!

Look merry, be merry

I'll be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas day with our extended family celebrating Jesus' birthday. We'll be eating lots of food, singing Christmas carols, snuggling up with full bellies, and most likely watching cliche Christmas movies like It's a Wonderful Life.

What are you doing for Christmas this year?

We’ll be hopefully going to our church’s Christmas Ever service tomorrow (hopefully my husband can get out a little early so we can make it). I’ll be watching It’s a Wonderful Life too. . .have to!! It’s tradition to say “I wish I had a million dollars – HOT DOG!” and “This old thing? I only wear this when I don’t care how I look!” haha. . and “Help me Clarence!” and “I want to live again!”. . etc. We’ll wake up the next day and I’m cooking breakfast. Then we’ll read from Luke about Jesus’ birth (we don’t teach the boys that Santa brought them anything, we tell them Santa once lived to do good for Jesus’ sake and that it is because of Christ that we are able to receive blessings as “every good and perfect gift is from above”.). We’ll pray and then open presents. Then we’ll go to my parents’ for dinner and dessert and go to my in-laws’ the following day. So there you have it!! Have a blessed Christmas and it is so nice to see that there are other bloggers who are into both fashion and Jesus. I don’t think I’ve seen too many of those at all yet. Maybe you know of some??

  5. Sounds delightful! I’ll be spending Christmas Eve & Day with my parents and siblings. And Christmas morning, I’ll drive over to my boyfriend’s family’s house to talk with him on the phone. :) He’s all the way in England, and goodness, I miss him. Thank Heaven for holidays that bring loved ones together.
