Just as I suspected, the kits will be delayed.

But only until Wednesday! I just wanted to let everyone know, because I know some of you are standing by.  The kits will be for sale on Wednesday night at midnight, EST.  I am still awaiting a package of goodies to include in the kits, so hopefully tomorrow I will have a picture of the kits for you to see as well as a price.

Boxes of paper

I hope you all had a good weekend! I spent most of mine working on the kits, but I also had a lot of fun celebrating the marriage of a good friend.

Recessional

It was one of those perfect weddings with a perfect bride and groom.  I don't know the groom too well, but all anyone could say was how great he is at everything, how popular he is, how handsome he is.  And I know Sarah is a beautiful, practically perfect girl.

Rose window

The church was beautiful, and I appreciated the historic aspect of the location.  It was the Presbyterian church in Canton where president McKinley worshiped when he was alive.

Fritz

It was a little unreal seeing my friends from highschool with their children.  Phil and I received a few "When are you having children?" questions.  Gotta love those.

Sarah wanted to have a picnic style reception where everyone brought a covered dish.  The pavilion where their reception was didn't allow covered dish parties, as they keep a contract with a catering business.  But it was still very laid back and fun.

Reception

Doors

Sarah's brother, Ben, always seemed to be surrounded by girls.  He's not completely a ladies man, but it was funny that my camera always seemed to catch him surrounded by skirts.

Entrance

Next weekend I shoot my very first wedding as a professional photographer!  I'm pretty excited, and very nervous.  If you all have any tips, I'd so love to hear them!  And I'm not quite sure what I should wear.  All black?  Something comfortable, yet professional.  Anybody…?

Oh, and before the night was over, Phil and I managed to snag a dashboard shot… although unfortunately it turned out blurry and my face is all scrunchy on one side… heee!

Good Morning! I love the dashboard photo op! You two are way cute!! Good luck with the wedding shoot! My brother in law is getting married in November and I did their engagement shoot! It was lots of fun and they are totally happy with them. You’ll do a great job! You have an awesome eye for capturing people and places!

Love the long shot of the bride and groom coming down the isle – that was awesome. You seem to have an eye for all the special little moments, which is special in itself. Well done. I believe black t-shirt and trousers is standard dress code for wedding photog’s – and TIE YOUR HAIR UP! If the wind is blowing it will drive you nutzoid, trust me. Plus wearing black and weilding a camera everyone will know who you are and to take directions. The very best of luck with your first wedding shoot – you’ll rock it!

  3. A pink church? That’s fantastic!
What lovely shots. Your wedding shots are always lovely, girl! Those butterflies for next week won’t last long after you get there and start working your magic.
YAY for the kits coming out this week! I can’t wait to see them revealed in all their glory.
You and Phil are gonna make beautiful babies someday. Just tell everyone it’s on your to do list for 2011 or something. :)

your papers look fantastic!!! i can’t wait for the kit!
the pictures you took at the wedding were fantastic! that’s exciting that you get to shoot a wedding! but i’d be terrified… that’s part of the reason i’m considering other majors besides photography. i’m so scared to photograph people and not have them like it. but i’m sure you’ll do wonderfully! you have such a great eye and i wish you would’ve been able to photograph my wedding…
    i’m rambling…
