Today is Wednesday!

I love Wednesdays, and am bound to find something at one of the local thrift stores. Last week I found the funkiest hanging light! Right now it’s covered in dust and pink $1.00 stickers, but someday it will be hanging in a breakfast nook in my future home. :)
I think it would go quite well with a set of these chairs and the pillow I snatched up from Jamaica‘s etsy shop, don’t you think?
Now if only I had Eero Saarinen’s tulip table, the cozy corner would be complete. Perhaps one day I’ll stumble across one at a thrift store? Impossible? Never know what you’ll find! Anything’s possible.

i have been far luckier with home decor finds at garage sales and flea markets than at the thrift store.
but i did find my teal typewriter at a thrift store and i love it to death….:)

My fave find were a few pieces of fiesta ware….I collect all the bright colors for my kitchy-koo!
I’ve found some great goodies — some of my favorites were a couple of funky aprons and this really cool old clothesrack for a kid’s room shaped like a giraffe!
it looks so lovely sitting there, glowing in the light. *sigh* i should send all my pillows to you to photograph, it looks a thousand times better on your chair than in any of my photos! And DITTO about the tulip table. that would be the score of a lifetime! Thanks for the love, xo jamaica
