Rainy days and Wednesdays

Oh yeah.  And in case you guys didn’t believe me when I said sometimes I freak out about little things. And get all panicky. Well, that’s what happened when I saw the sketch
of the vellum layout, and then looked at the actual finished product.

Hmmm.  They didn’t match.

And so what did I have to do? Of course, I had to fix it. Ripped out all of the stitches, and fixed it. I feel so much better now. I’ve got problems.  This I know.

love the lamps. that cork base… perfect for pinning up tiny love notes!
    i can’t tell… and i even tried. does that make me a bad obsessive-compulsive?
but what i really want to know is how did you get the headboard stuck to the wall? you can’t nail through the front… did you put hooks on the back? rest it on a ledge and bathe the back with adhesive? a thousand glue dots?

  5. do not even lust over my crafty space. seriously. i am lusting over the fact that you have the right amount of stuff to store in a flippin’ tote. seriously my friend, that is amazing. and i’m lusting over that.
and i’m with jamaica. i tried and tried and only noticed the stitching was different. maybe that was it?

i love visiting your blog. truly good stuff for the soul.

  9. You know, the birthday money was originally going towards the blue, tufted velvet headboard at Urban Outfitters until I saw your headboard post. I had a feeling you made one and it gave me the courage to think I could probably make one that I’d be just as happy with as the one in the store.
And then I decided on the pink chair.
    So, I thank you!!!
