Inspired By: Black, Pink, and Yellow Art

Maybe it’s the influence of citrus season, or perhaps it’s just the Winter blues, but I can’t get enough of this fresh color combination! I’ve been drinking grapefruit cocktails and eating little cuties by the handful, and when I’m not eating up the food, I’m soaking up the inspiration on my Art + Design Pinterest board. INSPIRED BY: Bold Colors in Vintage Homes

We’ve already moved into our 1950s ranch and settled on a color for our walls. But since we haven’t put up curtains, settled on a sofa choice, or really settled on anything (I’m not sold on the color of the walls!), I’m still pouring over vintage homes for color inspiration. This time I’ve rounded up some bold color schemes that inspire me to go big or go home (or both?) with our color choices. Is there too much of a good thing? Let me think about that one.

For some extra color scheme inspiration, check out past featured vintage homes here. The images from this post were found via Flickr and are linked back to their Flickr source.

INSPIRED BY: Sweet Stuff for the Home

Home-accessories

Donuts and candy and cake and ice cream! Seriously detrimental delicious stuff that might better serve you on the walls of your home than on the walls of your arteries. Of course, if you live life dangerously like me, you can enjoy your framed cake and eat it too! Here are a few sweet things for your home that I've literally been drooling over recently. (Check out my own ice cream poster here!)
