WHAT I WORE | Men’s Shirt

So what does a new mom wear? Besides spit-up, you mean? Well, in my experience, new moms wear a lot of the same thing. Over and over again. Because, well, there just isn’t much that works with a recovering body and quick access to the tatas. So, when we left the delivery room in the hospital, I wore this men’s button-down shirt and a pair of stretchy pants. I’ve since graduated from the stretch pants, but am still rocking men’s shirts nearly ever day. Men’s shirts and shirt dresses. They’re comfy, easily accessible for Lucy’s nursing, and can be fancified pretty easily in this new coat weather we’ve been having. Nice coat + nice shoes + fun hat + red lipstick = feeling sort of put together! I can dig it. Even though I am kind of bored of it.

  1. I think I wore my husband’s clothes after giving birth the same time. I hated how I had dressed at that time but there was a lack of anything else and it was terrible feeling. You look amazing!!!!!

I know it’s the “new mom” look, but you are rocking it. Plus, your hat is the best thing ever.

I think the lipstick and hat take it from “new mom” to something better! :) You look very cute and put together for just having had a baby recently!
