The Last Frolic Before Fall

I fear and hope that this past Sunday afternoon is the last of the lazy Summer days. Nothing against lazy days, of course. I’m just hoping they will soon end with bonfires and hay-rides.

The early evening hours were spent with Chinese carry-out, Tolstoy, dog walkers, flying geese, drifting to sleep on our grandma’s quilt, ice cream at Taggarts, and an earlier than expected dusk and donning of jackets.

You have no idea how happy this post has made me! All the photos, the lighting, the outfits (oh the outfit), and all the real props that aren’t really props.
And I’m excited for Autumn Saturdays as well. I think mine starts this Saturday…my family and I are piling into our den and watching ‘Lonesome Dove’ for my dad’s birthday. :) (although it was 92 degrees yesterday, I’ll pretend it’s chilly)
