Wardrobe Wednesday- Boots and such

May 26d

I literally gasped when I saw this dress hanging at the thrift store. And then I shrieked when I saw that it actually fit me! It's definitely a dress in which the details are more appreciated in person. But I had a delightful time in it this evening on date night.

Before leaving the neighborhood for our favorite ice cream joint, we took photos at the old Hoover plant (shut down and shipped to El Paso by my father three years ago).

The boots were a last minute thing, inspired by this shoot. I like these ones I found on ebay six years ago when I decided to go to school in Kentucky. Living in Kentucky was just a phase… but the boots stayed.

So off we went to enjoy some deliciously fresh fried food. I keep telling myself… the healthy food starts tomorrow. Oops. Ah, in any case, it was a delightful time with my man and everyone at the ice cream parlor thought I had just come from a marvelous party. I wished!
